Last updated: April 2, 2026 · Effective: February 1, 2026
Plain-language summary: You buy bots, you own them. One-time purchase, no subscriptions. Your conversations stay on your device. We cannot read them. You can export or delete everything at any time.
1. Introduction
Welcome to URBot.net (the "Service"). URBot.net is operated by TSI (Translator Series Inc.), part of the Charitypats.com ecosystem. By accessing or using URBot.net, any of its subdomains, or any of its APIs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and purchasers. They govern your use of the URBot.net website, the Bot Builder, the Bot marketplace, cross-device sync, the Developer API, and all related services.
2. Definitions
- "Bot" — A specialized AI assistant available on URBot.net. Each Bot has a unique knowledge domain (e.g., Professor, Medic, Legal, Chef). Bots are digital products you purchase and use through the URBot platform.
- "User" — Any person who accesses URBot.net or any of its subdomains, whether or not they have made a purchase.
- "Purchaser" — A User who has completed a purchase of one or more Bots through the Service.
- "Content" — Text, data, messages, configurations, or any other material generated by, provided to, or exchanged with a Bot during use.
- "Service" — The URBot.net website, all bot subdomains (e.g., professor.urbot.net, medic.urbot.net), the Bot Builder, the cross-device sync system, the Developer API, and any other features or tools provided by TSI through URBot.net.
- "Purchase" — A one-time payment transaction for a Bot or bundle of Bots. URBot does not use subscriptions or recurring billing.
3. Account Terms
Age requirements
- You must be at least 13 years old to use URBot.net.
- If you are between 13 and 17, you may use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. The parent or guardian agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf.
- If you are 18 or older, you may use the Service without parental consent.
Account responsibility
- One account per person. Do not create multiple accounts to circumvent limits or abuse the Service.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials, download tokens, and API keys.
- You must notify us immediately at support@urbot.net if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
- We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized use of your account if you have not taken reasonable steps to secure it.
4. Purchase Terms
Key point: Every purchase on URBot.net is a one-time payment. There are no subscriptions, no recurring charges, and no hidden fees. You buy a bot, you own it.
- One-time purchase model. All Bots are sold as one-time digital purchases. You will never be billed again for a Bot you have already purchased.
- Pricing. Individual bot tiers are priced at $1 (Starter), $3 (Full), and $5 (Professional). Bundle packs and enterprise tiers may have different pricing. All prices are in USD.
- Payment processing. All payments are processed securely by Stripe. TSI never sees, stores, or has access to your credit card number or banking details. Stripe's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply to payment processing.
- Digital goods. All products are digital. There is no physical shipping. After purchase, you receive immediate access to download your Bot package and use it through the platform.
- Multi-bot checkout. You may purchase multiple Bots in a single transaction through the Bot Builder cart system. Each Bot in your cart is treated as a separate product with its own license.
- Download tokens. After purchase, you receive a secure download token. Each token allows up to 10 downloads of your purchased Bot package. If you need additional downloads, contact support.
- Cross-device sync. Purchased Bots can be synced across your devices using our encrypted sync system. Your sync data is encrypted with a passphrase only you know. TSI cannot access your synced data.
5. Refund Policy
30-day satisfaction guarantee. If a Bot does not meet your expectations, you have 30 days from the date of purchase to request a full refund. No questions asked.
- How to request a refund: Send an email to support@urbot.net with your purchase email address and the Bot(s) you would like refunded. You do not need to provide a reason, though feedback is appreciated.
- Processing time: Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days. The exact timing depends on your bank or card issuer.
- What happens after a refund: Your download tokens for the refunded Bot(s) will be revoked. If you have already downloaded the Bot package, we ask that you delete it from your devices. Access to the Bot's chat and features on the platform will be deactivated.
- Bundles: If you purchased a bundle, you may request a refund for the entire bundle within 30 days. Partial bundle refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
- Abuse: We reserve the right to refuse refund requests that appear to be fraudulent or abusive (e.g., repeatedly purchasing and refunding the same Bot).
6. Bot Usage & Disclaimers
Important: Bots provide AI-generated information, not professional advice. Always verify critical information with a qualified human professional.
General use
- Bots are AI-powered assistants that generate responses based on their training data and knowledge domain. They are tools to help you learn, explore, and get things done — not replacements for professional judgment.
- Bot responses may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information. You are responsible for verifying any information before acting on it, especially in consequential situations.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any Bot response.
Domain-specific disclaimers
- Medical bots (Medic, Wellness, MentalHealth, Nutrition, PersonalTrainer): These Bots provide general health information for educational purposes only. They are not licensed medical professionals and do not provide medical diagnoses, treatment plans, or prescriptions. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical decisions. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
- Legal bots (Legal, Advocate): These Bots provide general legal information for educational purposes only. They are not licensed attorneys and do not provide legal advice, representation, or opinions. Consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction for legal matters.
- Financial bots (Budget, Crypto, BullToBear, Debt): These Bots provide general financial information for educational purposes only. They are not licensed financial advisors and do not provide investment recommendations. Consult a qualified financial professional before making financial decisions.
- Safety bots (FirstResponder, Disaster, Mountain Safety): These Bots supplement but never replace professional emergency services, official safety training, or certified rescue personnel. Do not rely solely on a Bot in a life-threatening situation.
Conversations and memory
- Chat conversations with Bots are processed locally on your device or through the URBot chat API. We do not store your conversation content on our servers unless you explicitly opt into cloud features.
- Bot memory (learned context from your conversations) is stored locally and can be exported or deleted at any time.
- Cross-device sync uses end-to-end encryption with a passphrase you set. We cannot decrypt synced data.
7. Intellectual Property
What you own
- Your input: You retain all rights to the text, questions, and data you provide to Bots during conversations.
- Your conversations: The content of your conversations with Bots belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of your chat history, exported data, or personal configurations.
- Bot responses for personal use: Responses generated by Bots are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may use Bot responses in your own projects, learning, and decision-making.
What TSI owns
- URBot branding: The URBot name, logo, mascots, bot names, and visual identity are proprietary to TSI. You may not use URBot branding in a way that implies endorsement or affiliation without written permission.
- Source code and training data: The URBot platform code, bot training datasets, training methodologies, and underlying algorithms are proprietary. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or extract them.
- Bot personalities and configurations: The default personalities, knowledge structures, and system prompts that define each Bot are proprietary.
User-generated content
If you publish reviews, feedback, or marketplace content through URBot, you grant TSI a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content on the platform. You may remove your published content at any time, which revokes this license.
8. Privacy
Your privacy is foundational to how URBot is built. For the full technical details, see our Privacy Policy.
- No data selling. We never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their marketing purposes. Period.
- Conversations stay local. Your chat messages are processed on your device or through the API. We do not store conversation content on our servers.
- Encrypted sync is optional. Cross-device sync uses AES-256-GCM encryption with a passphrase only you know. If you do not use sync, your data never leaves your device.
- Analytics are anonymized. We collect basic, anonymized page-view analytics to understand which Bots are popular. These analytics contain no personal identifiers, no IP addresses, and no conversation content.
- Stripe handles payments. Your payment card details go directly to Stripe. We never see or store them.
- You can delete everything. You can export your data in JSON format and permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time.
9. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use URBot.net to:
- Break the law. Do not use Bots for any illegal activity, including but not limited to fraud, harassment, stalking, threats, distribution of illegal content, or violation of export controls.
- Reverse-engineer or extract. Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or extract the source code, training data, model weights, or system prompts of any Bot.
- Scrape or automated abuse. Do not scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from URBot.net beyond what is permitted by the API and its rate limits.
- Resell without agreement. Do not resell, redistribute, or sublicense Bots or Bot responses commercially without a white-label agreement from TSI. Contact support@urbot.net for white-label and reseller inquiries.
- Harm others. Do not use Bots to generate content intended to harm, deceive, defraud, or manipulate other people.
- Circumvent security. Do not attempt to bypass authentication, access other users' data, exploit vulnerabilities, or interfere with the operation of the Service.
- Impersonate. Do not impersonate URBot, TSI, or any Bot in communications with third parties in a way that could cause confusion.
Violation of these rules may result in immediate account termination and revocation of purchased Bot access, without refund.
10. API & Developer Terms
If you use the URBot Developer API, the following additional terms apply. See the full API documentation for technical details.
- API keys are personal. Your API key is tied to your account. Do not share it publicly, commit it to public repositories, or embed it in client-side code. You are responsible for all usage under your API key.
- Rate limits apply. Free tier: 100 requests per minute. Pro tier: 1,000 requests per minute. Exceeding rate limits will result in temporary throttling (HTTP 429). Persistent abuse may result in key revocation.
- Attribution required for embeds. If you embed a URBot widget or use the API to display Bot responses in your own application, you must include a visible "Powered by URBot" attribution link back to urbot.net.
- No proxy services. Do not use the API to build a competing service, proxy Bot responses to third parties at scale, or offer API access to others under your key.
- Refer to the Developer Portal for key management, usage dashboards, and the full API reference.
11. Limitation of Liability
The Service, including all Bots and their responses, is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
- TSI does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.
- TSI is not liable for any decisions, actions, or outcomes resulting from your use of Bot responses. You use Bot-generated information at your own risk.
- To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TSI's total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to TSI in the 12 months preceding the claim.
- In no event shall TSI be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
12. Changes to Terms
- We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice before the changes take effect. Notice will be given by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date, and by email if you have an account.
- Non-material changes (formatting, clarifications that do not alter your rights) may be made without advance notice.
- Continued use of the Service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you should stop using the Service.
- Previous versions of these Terms are available upon request by contacting support@urbot.net.
If you have questions, concerns, or feedback about these Terms, you can reach us at:
You can also ask any Bot a question about these Terms — try typing "What are the terms of service?" in any Bot's chat.
Governing law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Tennessee.
